Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has made a groundbreaking deal with Twelve, a cleantech firm specializing in carbon transformation, to buy sustainable aviation fuel certificates. This partnership aims to slash CO2 emissions by over 4,000 metric tons between 2026 and 2029, advancing BCG's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2030. The fuel, produced from CO2 and renewable energy, promises up to 90% lower lifecycle emissions than conventional jet fuel.
